Your first visit
If you have not been to a dentist recently, the first examination is usually where people stop. So here is what happens, how long it takes and what comes after, so you are not arriving into the unknown.
What happens
Talking first
We start by asking why you came and what is bothering you. If something hurts, say so right away — it changes the order of what we do.
The examination
We look at your teeth, gums and bite. If something cannot be seen by eye, we suggest an X-ray and explain why it is needed before taking it.
The finding
We tell you what we found, in plain words, without Latin. If nothing needs doing, that is a finding too.
Plan and price
What needs doing, in what order, over how many visits and what it costs by the current price list. We book the next appointment only once you agree.

That is how long we hold the appointment. If it turns out more time is needed, we agree on another appointment rather than rush through this one.
Price
free
A first examination is not charged for (the practice’s decision). Everything else is in the price list, with the date it last changed: The price list has 57 items.
What to bring
Earlier X-rays and findings if you have them, a list of any medicines you take, and the name of the doctor treating you if you have a chronic condition. If you have none of that, come without.
If a child is coming
A parent or guardian books and brings the child, and gives consent for the examination. Consent is recorded once per child and stays on file; if the consent wording changes, we ask again.
The first time we do nothing we have not announced. If the child will not let us near, that is entirely normal and not a wasted appointment — we agree on the next one. How to prepare a child for a first visit.
If it hurts
Severe pain, swelling or an injured tooth do not wait for a free slot. Call +381 62 215 206 and say it is urgent; we plan that kind of appointment differently.
If it does not hurt but you have been putting it off: an examination takes the same time and costs the same however long it has been.
